Research interests and expertise
Dr Chryso Pieridou specialises in immunogenetics and transplantation immunology. Her research integrates HLA diversity and population immunogenetics with cellular and molecular information to investigate donor availability, donor–recipient compatibility, alloantibody responses and transplantation outcomes.
She has additional interests in donor-derived cell-free DNA and personalised post-transplant monitoring.
